How the search works when you have just arrived
The steps are the same as for any client. The difference is that we ask early about the things that are easy to miss after a move.
- Which language the household needs, and at what level: basic, conversational or fluent
- Who lives in the house, how old the children are, how the day runs
- Live-in or live-out
- Your monthly budget for the salary, which decides the pool of candidates
- Profiles of three to five candidates within 3–5 days of signing
- Interviews by phone, online or in person, whichever suits you

Our fee is 50 % of the employee’s monthly salary, split equally between the client and the employee.

How the payment works

What people ask most often
Do your candidates speak English?
We search to your brief: Armenian, Russian or English. Tick the languages and the level you need in the enquiry – basic, conversational or fluent. The higher the bar for language, the smaller the pool and the longer the search.
What does the search cost?
Our fee is 50 % of the employee’s monthly salary, split equally: you pay 25 %, the employee pays 25 %. At signing you pay both halves in one go, and the employee then receives their first month’s salary minus their 25 %.
What kind of agreement do we sign?
The standard term is six months. The agreement sets out the hours, the duties and up to three free replacements. A shorter agreement is possible; we discuss the terms case by case.
Can we see the person at work first?
Yes. If you wish, they work trial days before anything is settled. For a housemaid, a house manager and private household staff the trial period is five days.
What if the person is not right for us?
During the term of the agreement you have up to three free replacements. If the temperament, the hours or the standard of work do not suit you, we find someone new at no extra cost to you.
