A mother’s help –
so you can catch your breath

With a small child in the house the day gets shorter and the list gets longer. Renta Staffing Agency finds the person in Yerevan who will take some of it off your hands. What comes back is your own time.

  • She does not tell you how to raise your child, and she will not try to be a second mother
  • She takes the jobs you never get to – we agree the list for your family
  • Documents checked, previous employers called, an interview in person

Who she is

Not a nanny, not a housekeeper, not a cleaner

An extra pair of hands about the house, working to the rhythm of the family. Her job is to free up yours, so that you are with the child when it matters.

Experience with children

Real hours with children of different ages, not a line on a certificate.

Steady when things go wrong

Keeps her head in a situation nobody planned for.

Does what was agreed

Sticks to what was agreed, without improvising and without needing to be told twice.

Tidy by habit

Clean and orderly as a matter of course, not on request.

Duties

What the work covers

The list is put together for your family and the shape of your day.

  • Looking after the child alongside you, and for short stretches on her own: feeding, playing, settling to sleep
  • Light cleaning and keeping the flat in order
  • Simple meals and help in the kitchen
  • Ironing, laundry, sorting clothes
  • Food shopping and small errands
  • Walks with the child, or with the dog
  • Coming with you to lessons, clubs and appointments
  • Prep before supper: vegetables peeled, stock on the hob, the shopping put away

Yerevan and the rest of Armenia

Why families in Yerevan are asking for this

Armenian families have always managed on their own, and there is a great deal to be said for it. But Yerevan moves faster than it did, and the jobs pile up faster than anyone clears them. Handing a stranger your child, or your keys, takes some confidence. That is why we check every candidate, and why we work across Armenia.

  • Our own register of candidates, with references we have taken up ourselves
  • First profiles within 3–5 days of signing
  • A replacement if the person is not right for you
  • Confidentiality at every stage of the search
  • Yerevan and the regions of Armenia

Questions

What people ask most often

How is a mother’s help different from a nanny?

A nanny is responsible for the child and works alone while the parents are out. A mother’s help usually works alongside you and takes a mixed round of jobs – some with the child, some in the house and the kitchen. It suits parents who want to do the raising themselves and still need some of the load taken off them.

Does she need a teaching qualification?

No. Experience, common sense and getting on with children and parents matter more. A qualification counts in her favour; it does not decide the choice.

What does a mother’s help cost in Yerevan?

It depends on the hours, how much of the house comes into it and whether she is left alone with the child. Our fee is 50 % of one month’s salary, of which the client pays 25 %. We will name the range at the first consultation.

Can we have her part-time?

Yes. Part-time, or a few days a week, is the usual arrangement for this job. The schedule goes into the agreement.

What if she does not suit?

The agreement allows up to three free replacements. After the first day we stay in touch and help with whatever comes up.
